A marvelous and rare etching by Oklahoma Indian artist, Woody Crumbo. While Crumbo's silk screens are fairly ubiquitous, these etchings are really special and very rarely seen. This piece is entitled in pencil, lower left "Horse Colt and Prairie Dogs" and signed "by Woody Crumbo" in the lower right. The image depicts 2 colts and a couple of prairie dogs. Image measures 4" x 5 1/2", total paper is 7 1/4" x 6". Good condition, 3 pieces of paper tape at the top. Has been framed at one time (now unframed) and you can see an image on the white paper as to where the mat was. A little smudging on the white paper, could be framed out. Wonderful piece! Great image!
