A super duper hand woven wool hand bag from the Chimayo weavers in Chimayo New Mexico. Circa 1945. The ground color is ivory with red, black, and gray accents. The clasp is covered with a silver Indian thunderbird with etched designs. Interior is a cream colored satin and a label says "La Azteca Chimayo Hand Woven Products". Closes with a zipper. Has a loop on the back if you want to thread a belt through it. Has a pocket inside with the original mirror inserted. Fabulous condition, a little soiled on the front, but very minor! Comes with its original box which is in fair condition (stains, wear) but has "La Azteca Chimayo Bag No Two Designs Alike Hand Woven of Fine Wool Yarn Easily Cleaned with Cleaning Fluid" on the front. Measures 7 1/4" x 6". Just super duper!
