Here are 6 photo postcards of Bishop Otter College in England (which was founded about 1850). These are scenes in the early to mid-20's of young girls performing studio work in the Arts & Crafts tradition. All are in great condition, there is a notation on the top of each (on the text side) in ink indicating the place and date. The cards show various scenes including: a woman at a loom; a woman at a pottery wheel; a woman sculpting; a pottery kiln; a woman at a tabletop loom; and a woman decorating pottery. The women's names are noted at the top of the card, interestingly enough, one is noted "Muriel Bennet". Great period photographs! Very good condition. Price: $49/set + shipping
