Set of three odd but appealing silver jewelry pieces which incorporate a pale green resin of some kind: ring stamped on back 925 with an image of a monocled man in top hat, and other words I can't make out; pendant at lower left marked on back "Fli" or "Hi" 925; pendant at lower right has a recessed back into which has been placed a worn piece of suede, apparently to keep it from slipping around on the wearer's shirt; brooches are approx 2 3/4 in. long; age unknown, but they're pretty cool. Back to The Noisy Boy and Disorderly Girl Home Page Hammered Copper Tray with Brass handle .... 6 1/2"h x 11 1/2"diameter. This tray has a great form. It is a flower bloom with the handle forming the stamen. Hammered after the tray was formed; planishing marks create the petals. The brass handle is attached with a copper rivet and has planishing marks up and down it's length. An old polish on the top of the tray has removed most of the original patina but the piece is reacquiring a nice natural patina and is a medium reddish brown. Reliquary Cross or Crucifix .... Want to buy reliquary cross or crucifix. I have seen two of them and they appeared very similar to each other; a pewter or nickel silver cruciform base with maroon to black enamel or bakelite-type inset, with or without a Corpus (figure of crucified Jesus). The top of the cross is hinged. Opens to reveal small niches that hold relics of various Catholic or Orthodox Saints (bone fragment, hair) or of fragments of holy objects (e.g., Cross at Calvary).
