Interesting vintage pin. Very Victorian in style, but I believe its a Victorian Revival piece probably done in the 30s or 40s. Petals from aA real pansy are pressed underneath either a solid clear lucite or celluloid. Wonderful vibrant pansy colors of gold and purple. This is encased in a gold-plated brass setting. There is very much wear on the gold plating. A "c" clasp pin is glued to the back, I don't know if this is original or not, but can see no other indications that any other type of pin has been there. Pin measures 1 3/8" in diameter. Very good condition aside from the plating wear. If you are a pansy collector or like pansy colors or are into pressed flowers, this is the vintage pin for you!
